WCF admissions 2013
Admissions to the Worshipful Company of Farriers include Mr Adam Young, FdSc AWCF of Benson, Oxfordshire. Mr Young is a Registered Farrier; he was introduced and supported by Past-Master Carl Bettison.
Miss Rose Evelyn Webb-Carter, MA, of Fairford, Gloucestershire. Miss Webb-Carter is a charity worker; she was introduced and supported by her father, the Master.
FCoH, Michael John Woods, AWCF, MTF, of The Forge, Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment, London. Mr Woods is an Army Farrier; he was introduced and supported by Assistant John Peacock.
Admissions to the Freedom
Mr John Richard Bowra of Garston, Hertfordshire. Mr Bowra is a civil servant; he was introduced by Liveryman Martin Russell and supported by Freeman Lavinia Russell.
Mr Alister Harry Ibbotson, DipWCF, of Tadworth, Surrey. Mr Ibbotson is a Registered Farrier; he was introduced by his father, Liveryman Peter Ibbotson and supported by Past-Master Howard Cooper.
New Assistants
The WCF’s new assistants include Mark Houghton and Commodore Richard Bridges.
New Examiner
Alex Knott is a new Company Examiner.
New Master Farriers
Three new Master Farriers are Mr David William Mitchell, Mr Mark Jerram, FdSc, AWCF, and Mr Peter William Balchin.
