NEW FOR 2012 - BFBA Farriery Focus Mail-in / Bring-along shoemaking competition

Shoes may be mailed to BFBA, The Forge, Avenue B, 10th Street, NAC, Stoneleigh, Warwickshire CV8 2 LG or brought along to Farriery Focus on Saturday 29th September 2012. ALL entries need to have been registered by 4pm on Saturday 29th September. Prize presentation at the Forge during the Saturday night hog roast.

The event consists of a mixture of lectures and demonstrations plus a comprehensive Trade Fair.

The Farriery Focus Day is being run alongside the BFBA National Farriery Championships and the 33rd International Team Horse Shoeing Championships, a competition open to teams of four farriers, entries expected to be confirmed shortly. This is a spectacle in itself and one well worth coming to watch.

The event consists of a mixture of lectures and demonstrations with key note speaker Mr Craig Trnka from the USA plus a comprehensive Trade Fair. A limited Trade Fair will also be open on Sunday 30th September with a ‘Super Clinic’ in the morning with Craig Trnka, Grant Moon, Dr Chris Pardoe PhD AWCF and Gary Darlow.

The Farriery Focus Day is being run alongside the 33rd International Team Horse Shoeing Championships, a competition open to teams of four farriers, entries expected from England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland, USA, Canada, Sweden, Norway, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, France, Denmark. This is a spectacle in itself and one well worth coming to watch.

£10 for BFBA members and £20 for Non members.

This is also a CPD registered event – attendance gives you 4 CPD points.

Saturday evening (6.00pm) there will be a HOG ROAST SUPPER (hog roast plus assorted salads), tickets available for this at £10.00. Tickets available from Amanda at BFBA HQ.
