‘Foot Perfect’ – the solution
for common hoof complaints

The majority of equine lameness is caused by problems associated with hoof health, Brinicombe Equine says. The sensitive tissues of the sole and frog are prone to infection, and conditions such as abscess, thrush, seedy toe and whiteline disease are common. The anatomy of the hoof, with its crevices and clefts and constant exposure to mud and soiled bedding has made these minor complaints difficult to treat – until now.

Brinicombe Equine has spent the past 12 months working with farriers and vets to find an effective, easy-to-administer and cost-effective solution to these common hoof conditions. Foot Perfect Hoof Spray is a new products that is now available to retailers and farriers. The company have considered the difficulty of both holding up a horse’s hoof and treating the area at the same time, so the product comes in an ergonomic 300ml, allowing the handler to accurately target the problem area. It is also a quiet spray that will not upset sensitive horses, or put the handler in a potentially dangerous situation. The spray is a natural formulation, which is said to be gentle on the soft tissues of the hoof, but giving a powerful, long-lasting action against the bacteria and fungi that cause smelly frogs and poor hoof health.

A 300ml bottle has a retail price of just £12.95, with excellent margins available for suppliers.
